REFLECTIVE GLASS

This building has trees on all sides. It even reflects vegetation from  the next block.

This building is in Barrington, IL.

When the trees have green leaves, so will the windows.

But even in the winter this style of window is bad: birds sitting in the trees see the reflection of the neighboring buildings and attempt to fly over those reflections.

This building is in southwest suburban Chicago.

This building on the Northwestern campus is a huge problem.

The area is filled with trees, which are reflected in the windows.

Above the trees, it's beautiful sky.

As with many buildings, this can be a problem in all seasons.
